Biography

Walter "2 Guns" Wright fights out of Seattle WA. and is currently (14-3, 7 KO's). As an amateur, Wright amassed a 90-12 record, which led to high expectations for him as a professional. He opened his pro career by losing in his boxing debut to Matt O'Brien by knockout.

After his first loss, Wright went on to win his next 11 fights in a row. He was on such a roll that he auditioned and was invited to be on the ESPN's reality television show "The Contender Season 2".  In his first fight, Wright took on fellow welterweight Andre Eason. Wright knocked Eason down in the 1st round and ended up winning the fight 50-44 on all three judges score cards.

In his next fight, Wright took on Cornelius Bundrage. Wright fought hard but lost by unanimous decision, thus knocking him out of the tournament.

Wright rebounded nicely with two TKO's over Vinroy Barrett and Dan Wallace but failed to defeat Anthony Small in the United Kingdom.

After a 3 year absence from the ring, Walter Wright returned to the Emerald Queen Casino on June 19th, 2010 to score a UD victory over a tough Joshua Snyder.
